About Kids For Wish Kids®

Kids For Wish Kids is a program that engages kids of all ages, students, youth groups, clubs and organizations in the Make-A-Wish mission.

The program provides ideas for kids and teens to raise funds to help grant the wishes of qualifying children in our service area.  Kids can create ideas for fundraisers or use an example we provide and then organize and manage from start to finish.  Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the project belongs solely to the kids involved.  Through active participation in fundraising efforts, kids can take pride in knowing that they made a significant contribution to granting wishes and sharing the power of a wish.

In addition to helping in getting wishes granted, students walk away with a better understanding of:

• Community service
• Volunteering
• Leadership skills
• Money management
• School spirit
• Teamwork
• Entrepreneurship

The opportunities to get involved and raise funds for Kids For Wish Kids are endless – anything from hosting a dance marathon, bake sale or penny wars. It’s all up to you and your friends!
