Jewelers for Children Grants 17-year-old's Shopping Spree Wish

June 18, 2014

Jewelers for Children will help make Ellery’s wish to shop in New York City a reality on Thursday, June 19.  The 17-year-old from Pasquotank County who has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia will receive the full red-carpet, celebrity treatment including a private chartered flight courtesy of Lord Corporation

Ellery’s wish experience kicks off on Wednesday, June 18 with a wish party at Holland’s Jewelers in Apex where owner Ginny Sears will make a special gift presentation.  Ellery and her family will arrive via limousine at the airport on Thursday morning where she will be whisked off to New York.  During the flight, she will enjoy a hair and make-up session all while travelling at 30,000 feet.  Once in New York, a personal shopper will escort Ellery during her visit to Macy’s.
