For a child with a life-threatening medical condition, a wish experience can give back what the illness takes away. It can help children forget about being sick…remember how to be kids…laugh out loud…and inspire them to keep making plans for the future.
You can help grant a wish to a child in your community. There are many ways to ensure the continued mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to help. We invite you to share the power of a wish® whether you can give a few hours each month or a few days each year.
You can help make the wishes of special children come true in your community when you become a volunteer for Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina. Our mission is only possible with the dedication of our volunteers.

Donate
Provide some magic for a child going through a difficult time. Help grant wishes today! We welcome all levels of donations, whether it’s $5 or $5,000.
You can donate by mail, online, at work, as part of a matching-gifts program, and even by purchasing select Make-A-Wish® - branded products.

External Events
External events are organized by outside parties to benefit Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina. Event sponsors vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups and just about anyone who has a great idea for a fundraiser. Some of the unique and special community events that have been organized include golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments and silent auctions.

WGNI, a Cumulus Broadcasting Station based in Wilmington, will feature "Make-A-Wish Eastern NC Spotlight" each month beginning in February 2013.
