Trailblaze Challenge

It's not a race...it's a journey!

The Trailblaze Challenge is a 26.5 mile endurance hike where participants can tackle the terrain of the
Sauratown Trail and all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in eastern North Carolina with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy. Trailblaze Challenge is a four month program that provides training leading up to the hike weekend adventure.

Participants interested in participating in the Trailblaze Challenge are required to register for an Info Meeting. Info Meetings will take place in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Greenville and Wilmington from January 9-28. Training for Trailblaze will begin in February.
