(Raleigh, NC) – Toll Brothers is pleased to announce it will host the Second Annual Hasentree 5K Color Run. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29, at Toll Brothers’ Hasentree community in Wake Forest, North Carolina and is open to the public. The event will include a children’s one-mile run prior to the start of the timed 5K, as well as an on-site wish reveal where attendees will have the opportunity to witness a child receive the wish he or she requested from the nonprofit organization. An auction benefitting Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina will also take place. All event proceeds will go directly to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina.
The registration costs are $30 per participant for the 5K Color Run and $15 per child for the children’s one-mile run. On-site registration will open at 7:30 a.m.; the children’s one-mile run begins at 8:50 a.m., and the timed 5K Color Run begins at 9:10 a.m. Each participant will be doused in multiple colors at designated checkpoints throughout the run. Runners are encouraged to wear white to keep a colorful souvenir from the event. Participants and their families are invited to enjoy a light breakfast before the race. Pizza, beverages and fun activities for all ages will take place post-race. Event sponsors include Run N Tri Outfitters, Galaxy Fun Park, Gladwell Orthodontics and Athleta.
