January 05, 2017

Members to serve as community advocates for local wish-granting organization

MORRISVILLE, N.C. (January 5, 2017) — Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has officially launched its new Young Professionals program to engage dynamic individuals who are passionate about granting wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions.  Members within the program will provide a significant resource for the chapter’s Board of Directors, President and CEO, and full-time staff in fundraising and increasing chapter awareness.  The first Young Professionals meeting will take place on January 19th at the chapter’s office in Morrisville (2880 Slater Road, Suite 105) beginning at 6 pm.

“The Young Professionals program is another opportunity where our communities can help make local wishes come true,” said Bob Frazier, Vice President of Development for Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina.  “This support is critical at a time when we have hundreds of children who are currently awaiting their wish.”

For additional membership information regarding the Young Professionals program and to begin the application process, please contact Kathryn Calvert at (919) 821-7111, ext. 201 or via email.
