Nov. 15 event supports annual Season of Wishes® campaign
The Chi Omega chapter at East Carolina University will hold its first golf tournament on Friday, November 15 to benefit Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina. The event is part of the wish granting organization’s annual Season of Wishes campaign. More than 30 wishes representing 19 counties of eastern North Carolina will be granted before the end of the calendar year. Chi Omega, the world’s largest women’s fraternal organization, selected Make-A-Wish as its national charity in 2002. Since then, the organization has contributed more than 430,000 volunteer hours and raised more than $6.8 million to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
